I’ve often wondered if it was an animal instinct that causes us to desire a four bedroom house with 5 bathrooms and a 3 car garage. Perhaps its just cultural.
Its a been a while since I took part in Illustration Friday.
So today I celebrated President’s Day by not getting any mail.
I have been trying to paint more, and since I’m an architect, I decided to paint houses. Above is my latest completed painting, done for my brother and sister-in-law. It was actually her idea to paint it and it got me thinking, perhaps I should do more of these.

I’ve been a little busy the past couple of weeks with a few projects so I’ve not posted as much as I’d like. Below are the options for the first round of a logo design for a co-worker’s boat club.
They need to be a little more “youthful” but I think its a good start to find the direction he wants to go.
